WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT ?
This is a combined league and knockout tournament played over a number of
knockout rounds
using CMBO. At the start of the tournament players generate an Order Of
Battle (OOB) for a unit 1,700 points strong using the Fionn
Kelly Short 75 rules. These rules limit armor purchases to medium tanks, and make for very balanced playable games.
All battles will be fought on Mirror Maps.

5 May 08. The tournament is on hold for the
next 6 to 12 months whilst I'm doing a course with work which has taken over my
life. Apologies to all the players involved.
14 April 08. A general apology to all
players. Work and family have restricted the time I have available for
this this and other tournaments.
8 Mar 08. The players through to Round 2 of
the tournament are:

due to slightly better point results in each game)
Points will be awarded for each game as per the round 1 games.
5 Mar 08. Game 3 between Martti Kylmälä and
Pioneer [RT] ended in a Minor
Victory for
Pioneer [RT]. This completes all of the Round 1 second games.
29 Feb 08. Game 7 between
Chris Martino and Sphinx ended in a Minor
Victory for Sphinx.
18 Feb 08. Game 8 between Bootie and Joboooo ended in a Minor
Victory for Joboooo.
3 Feb 08. Game 4 between
Glider and
Haksaeng has ended in a Tactical Victory for Glider.
2 Feb 08. Game 2 between Badger and Panzerjaeger (FGM) has
ended in a Minor Victory to Badger.
1 Feb 08. Game 6 between Dadsturf and Mr Yormsha has ended in
a Draw.
11 Jan 08. Game 1 between Lighthorse (FGM) and
Antoni Chmielowski has been awarded to
Antoni Chmielowski with the withdrawl of Lighthorse (FGM).
10 Jan 08. Game 5 between Nort and
Jimzalabim (FGM) has ended in a Total Victory to Nort.
1 Jan 08. Happy New Year to one and all.
8 Nov 07. Both
Filip von Izabelin and Larry Thorne have both pulled out of the tournament.
7 Nov 07. Round 1 Game 2 start files sent out today.
3 Nov 07. Just to confirm that Round 1 of this tournament is
comprised of two games. The 10 players with the highest scores at the end
will go through to Round 2. (The scoring web page has still to be
created)
31 Oct 07. PC problems has prevented me from finishing off the
next map. Hope to have the next round underway shortly.
14 Oct 07. Round 1, game 3 between
Pioneer [RT] and Glider ended in a Major Victor for
Glider.
18 Sep 07. Guys a quick update for. I haven't forgotten
about this tournament. I've had problems with the map for the next round
(it's a long story). Suffice to say I hope to get things sorted within a
few weeks.
15 Jul 07. Round 1, game 10 between Sphinx and Lighthorse
(FGM) ended in a Draw (45/55).
12 Jul 07. Round 1, game 8 between Joboooo and Geordie has
ended in a Total Victory for Joboooo.
24 Jun 07. Round 1, game 2 between Panzerjaeger (FGM) and Martti Kylmälä ended
in a Draw (45/50).
11 Jun 07. Round 1, game 5 between Jimzalabim and Dadsturf has
ended in a Tactical Victory to Dadsturf.
10 Jun 07. Round 1, game 6 between Mr Yormsha and
Chris Martino has ended in a Minor Victory to Mr Yormsha.
9 Jun 07. Round 1, game 4 between Hagsaeng and Nort has
ended in a Minor Victory for Nort.
8 Jun 07. Round 1, game 9 between
Larry Thorne (FGM) and
Filip von Izabelin has ended in a Total Victory to
Filip von Izabelin with the withdrawl from the tournament of
Larry Thorne (FGM).
2 Jun 07. Round 1, game 7 between
Col. Falkenberg and Bootie has ended in a Minor Victory to Bootie.
28 May 07. The first game of Round 1 has been completed.
In Game 1 Badger managed a Minor Victory over
Antoni Chmielowski.
7 May 07. First picture uploaded. Norts 3rd Scots in

30 Apr 07. Most battles now underway.
26 Apr 07. Lighthorse(FGM) and Sphinx are joining the
tournament.
20 Apr 07. Just heard that Timo (Larry Thorne) has become a
Dad. His daughter was born a week ago. Timo, congratulations to you and
and your family.
19 Apr 07. The first game has been fully started. (Both
players have exchange their first file)
17 Apr 07. Round 1 of the
tournament starts today. All scenario files have been sent out to the Axis
players.
16 Apr 07. All the scenarios are now sorted. Will send
them out tomorrow evening.
15 Apr 07. All the scenario files have been created, however,
on doing a final cross-check I found I couple of problems with the
set-ups. Will (hopefully) get this sorted on Monday evening.
13 Apr 07. Discovered a snag in the design of the map.
Will sort this tomorrow. Hope to send all the scenarios out on Sunday.
12 Apr 07. The final outstanding OOB has been received.
Will start creating the scenarios tomorrow.
9 Apr 07. Back home (for a rest) after a weekend tiling my
mother-in-laws toilet. The map is 99% finished. Still waiting a
couple of force selections...
5 Apr 07. Okay, I'm back from holiday, but am still waiting on
two forces selections to be submitted. The Map is not quite ready
either. I'm away from home for Easter as well, so we are looking at a
start in about a weeks time.
25 Apr 07. At the moment there are still four force selections
outstanding, so we need to wait for them to come in. I'm on holiday for a
week with the family until 3 April, so we'll start the tournament a couple of
days after then.
20 Mar 07. More than half the players have now submitted their
unit selections.
17 Mar 07. We now have 16 players signed for the tournament,
and can now progress to the next stage. All players now need to download
the Force selection spreadsheet or word document if you don't have Excel, and
generate 2 units as per the tournament rules. One Allied and one Heer.
14 Mar 07. Started work on the
first map to use in the tournament.
13 Mar 07. Started recruiting
players today.
12 Mar 07. Work has slackened
off and I feel I will shortly have time to run another tournament. So I
have created this web site today. The format will be based on the 2004
CMBO Mirror Map Tournament. I shall start actively recruiting players
in the next day or so.
